2024 Climate Ride Events

Join the movement and bike, hike or run for our national parks at one of this year's Climate Ride events.

Your national parks need your support now more than ever, which is why NPCA has proudly chosen to partner for the 12th year in a row with Climate Ride, a 501©(3) nonprofit organization that organizes life-changing charitable biking and hiking events to raise awareness and support sustainability, active transportation, and environmental causes.

Since 2012, Climate Ride participants have raised over $280,000 for NPCA, helping us to mitigate threats to national parks from air pollution, invasive species and other consequences of a changing climate.

We hope that you will consider actively engaging in the fight against climate change by participating in one of the 2024 multi-day events — whether you opt for two wheels or two feet. All you need to do is choose NPCA as a beneficiary when you register for one of the events listed below.

The trips are fully supported, meaning they include overnight accommodations, meals, expert guides, luggage transport each day and access to fundraising tools to help you meet the donation requirements. Climate Ride also features a nightly speaker series, focusing on bicycle advocacy, sustainability, renewable energy and park protection (occasionally featuring NPCA’s regional experts).

As the leading voice for our parks, NPCA has worked for a century to protect and preserve the United States’ most majestic — and iconic — landscapes for the next generation. We encourage you to take the challenge, make a difference, and build new friendships and connections along the way. You won’t regret it.
